This is a great camera. I wanted a super zoom camera without buying an SLR. Though this camera is a little bulky, I kind of like it how it feels in my hands. I don't like those small cameras.

This camera has 15x optical zoom! I took the pictures and results were amazing. I loved the fast action mode. It allowed me to take pictures at an amazing rate so the people didn't have to wait for me to take their pictures. This camera also has 8.1 MP which yields great results.

I didn't like how it only had 31 MB built-in. You can probably only save 8-10 pictures but I guess that's common in all the cameras now. I bought a 2GB memory stick pro duo and I believe I am set. This camera can also shoot videos so it can work like video camera but the quality obviously not that great.

The battery life was pretty good. I liked how the battery charger just fits on the power outlet. No cables to worry about.

I would highly recommend it. Though price is little high.

8 Mega Pixel, 15X Zoom Camera for Great Photos

Strengths: Unlike Other Cameras it has 15X Zoom, Very Quick, Powerful Flash, Strong Battery life.

Weakness: Not many but few like automatic mode leads to blurred pictures, battery charging time is long.

Overall, a Solid Perfomer, I loved this camera and I m a big fan of SLR Cameras and Considered cost of the SLR cameras in Market, I considered this camera and Canon S2 and I liked this Sony than Canon. It has many features like high resolution, very good zoom, quick pictures like we can take upto 3 pictures per second (You can adjust in settings), and edit the pictures in camera for ex. red eye reduction, battery life is also very good. I strongly recommend this camera in this category.

This camera is loaded with lots of features. Powerful zoom range, Super steady shot (image stabilization), huge LCD. It's very comfort to hold, but make this camera a little bulky. With included petal hood, it looks like digital SLR. Super steady shot yields crisp picture at low shutter speed. People complain that they get blurry picture at maximum zoom. Even with help of image stabilization, you'd better go above 1/focal length of shutter speed to obtain clear picture. That's true for all camera.

Carl zeiss optics did very good job. Sharpness from the lens is great. You can raise ISO up to 3200, but I think IQ is OK up to 800. 1600 is usable, but 3200 was way too grainy without details. But still, it's huge benefit for compact digital camera.

This camera provides also shutter/aperture priority and manual exposure, which give you more freedom for creative photography.

Overall, I'm very satisfied with this camera.

This is the best camera i ever had. Very good picture quality and easy shot mode making photo taking never being so easy. I'm not professional , but for commom user, i highly recommended this camera.

Love it

Strengths: Powerful, convenient and featured camera

Weakness: Blurry pics when zoom out

This camera is definitely a good alternative for people want to be photo-shot expert. With is featured function, operationing is really easy and pic quality is really good. Alought sometime pics is blurry when you zoom out. Tripod will easily overcome this problem i believe.
