Good camera for the money
Strengths: 10x optical zoom, use AA battery, able to use len filters, choice of SD / xD card
Weakness: odd shape, not optical image stabilizer, weight
I wanted a digital camera with longer optical zoom but did not want to pay a lot of money. I found this camera on sales during the Christmas holidays and was within my budget. I like the 10x optical zoom. Using rechargeable AA batteries saves me paying a lot of money for those special OEM batteries. This camera accepts SD card which I have quite a few at home. I would not have bought this camera...

Fujifilm FinePix S700
Strengths: Very sturdy camera.. Zoom is awesome & for the price this is best camera in market.
Weakness: When I bought this available in only one color.
Fuji has always been very good in the camera business, With this Fujifilm FinePix S700 you can have very great 7 mega pixel picture within your budget.
I have used very similar cameras in past but this one is gr8.

Great Camera
Strengths: Excellent low light pictures, great zoom, low price
Weakness: None
This is a great camera with a 10X optical Zoom. The pictures taken by it is comparable to its double prized compatitor Canon S5 IS. The low light performance is better tahn Canon S5 IS, plus its low price tag beats the Canon S5 in all respects.

amazing quality
Strengths: can use regular battery, 10Xzoom, can use SD
Weakness: Not very nice quality when it's dark
People, this camera can use regular batteries. Four Energetix battery gave me 250 shots. The picture quality is pretty good. We took a lot of amazing pictures in yellowstone. However at night it has noises. One more thing, the flash light will pop up suddenly if you choose "auto" mode and if the light is not strong, which may scare yourself when you first use this or when your fingers are on the...

Amazing Performance at an Amazing Price
Strengths: Incredible 10X optical zoom, super macro mode can focus down to 1 cm, electronic viewfinder, can use both xD and sD cards !!!
Weakness: Uses AA batteries, need to buy optional rechargable batteries and charger, separate lens cap (easy to lose) but use the included cap tether
I bought this camera for the workplace to image electronic circuitry and so far it's been exceeding my expectations. Top mounted dial controls all functions, and a cue card help screen appears in the 2.5" LCD each time you switch a setting. The electronic viewfinder can be used instead of the large bright LCD to conserve battery power. It's ruggedly built, fits good in your hands, and feels...
