This is a Good Choice for Technically Challenged...

Strengths: Ease of use, screen size, accuracy, support from Garmin, spoken directions, quick satellite access.

Weakness: None

This is the second 650 I have purchased. I purchased one for myself to avoid getting lost (it's a guy thing)and after my wife saw how easy it was to use (she's not technically oriented) she wanted one for her car too. Finding the shortest way to get to where we need to go without getting lost is a great way to save gas money and marriages. It doesn't have the bells and whistles that are on the...

Terrific GPS !!!

Strengths: Accuracy is incredible, plenty of gas stations and restaurants as well as anything else you may need to find.

Weakness: Suction cup holder is small and doesn't extend out as far as I need but doesnt really belong as a weakness.

This is a fab GPS, that does everything right out of the box, no need to know anything, just open and go! The only difference with this one and the 660 is the lack of bluetooth, but most that want bluetooth are walking around with one hanging on their ear anyway!! This is a great GPS

nuvi 650 reiview

Strengths: great navigation. looks very nice and is light.

Weakness: Couldn't find any so far

I've purchased it for my husband's birhday. He likes it very much. We traveled by car from NJ to FL and it guided us all the way to our destination. Also we used it in FL to find shops and restaurants. It was like having yellow pages in this device. Very handy. So far we are very pleased with our purchase.

Nuvi 650

Strengths: Logical interface, easy to use. Bright and easy to read display

Weakness: Shipped with only the "Quick Start" manual. Did not include the full product manual, but it is readily downloadable from Garmin.com

Easy and logical entry and clear display make this a gem. Mounts easily, but the flip up antenna is not very convienent. Garmin should do away with this and put it internal to the unit. Overall, the unit is great and I would buy again.

Excellent purchase, especially for the price

Strengths: Accuratcy, screen size, price, POI capability, too many more to list

Weakness: None.

I bought the Nuvi 650 a week after it was released on a pricing error in the $400 range after almost buying a Nuvi 360 hours before. I have been shopping GPS units for a long time for an additional unit in my Jeep along with the factory installed one in my Charger. After using many units, reading thousands of reviews and comparing all the specs, I was set on getting a Garmin. While TomTom seems...

Garmin 650 GPS

Strengths: Extremely easy to use, nice size screen, good price for what you get.

Weakness: Suction cup windshield mount

No one tells you that you can basically use the suction mount once and if you dislodge from the windshield you have to buy another $40.+ unit. cause it wont stick again. Other than that I tried the garmin out on at least 4 places I had no idea where I was going and three places I was sure of for comparison. A few minor problems, like I didn't turn when I was suppose to and the like but no worries...

BOUGHT MY 650 NUVI, NEVER HAD ONE BEFORE,LOVE...

Strengths: PERFECT SO FAR 98 PERCENT

Weakness: FOUND A LOWES STORE , RIGHT ROAD BUT WAS A MILE OFF..WISH YOU COULD SOMEHOW PLAY THE VOICE THRU MY CAR SPEAKERS

BOUGHT MY 650, AND INSTALLED FROM BOX TO CAR AND AWAY I WENT,SO EASY TO USE, SO BRIGHT, AND LOVE THE LARGE SCREEN. TURNS DIFFERNT COLORS AT NIGHT AND ITS BEAUTIFUL. CANT BELIEVE THE BATTERY LIFE AND EASE OF INSTALATION AND REMOVAL FROM CAR WHEN NEEDED. THE SCREEN IS SO LARGE AND EASY TO SEE EVEN WITHOUT MY GLASSSES, BRIGHT SUNLIGHT AND I HAVE A SUN ROOF AND STILL ITS BETER VIEWING THAN MY LAP TOP...

Nuvi 650

Strengths: Simple to use, decent screen, voice prompts

Weakness: Screen not really worth the upgrade cost over the 350

Take the Nuvi 350, stretch the screen a bit and you end up with the 650. The difference in model numbers would suggest a larger difference. The reviews below have already touched on everything worth mentioning, so this will probably just reinforce those views. The unit is well designed, compact, and easy to use. No problems there. Some people require a "traveling salesman" type of POI...

6 stars out of 5!

Strengths: Voice direction

Weakness: None really

Anyone looking to buy a GPS, stop researching and get this product. I have used it everywhere I have gone, and directions have been spot on. The display is big enough to display all details, and the touch screen is very easy to use. I use a stylus pen and it works just as well as actually touching the screen, and safer while driving as well. For all the bad rap the windshield mount has taken in...

Garmin Nuvi 650 Personal Travel Assistant GPS

Strengths: Compact size with large screen. Screen clarity - easy to read.

Weakness: None

Not up to date on street numbering for our home which was changed over two years ago. Wonder how many places are also not up to date. The touch screen is very easy to use and the program is user friendly and unit has a very bright screen.
